Description

Magui Dávila (Argentina, 1986) is an artist that researches the party as a learning space and manages the independent publishing label Las lindas pobres.

Interstellar Fugitives is a project that visually interprets Black Atlantis, the afrofuturist myth developed by Drexciya, the american electronic duo from Detroit consisting in James Stinson and Gerald Donald.

According to afrofuturist legend, Drexciya is a sunken land inhabited by the children of African women drowned during the Middle Passage. Since they were never born, these children continued to breathe underwater: first through amniotic fluid, then through lungs better suited to their aquatic world.

This edition comes with a print and a playlist by Secharia Sitchin.
